Le Directeur général de APIX-SA poursuit sa tournée de promotion de la destination Sénégal avec une réunion de travail qui s’est tenue ce vendredi 16 juin dans les locaux de l’ICEX, l’agence espagnole chargée de promouvoir l’internationalisation des entreprises espagnoles. Grâce à une étroite collaboration avec l’Ambassade du Sénégal à Madrid, cette coopération s’est concrétisée par la signature d’un accord de partenariat entre les deux agences.
Il est important de souligner que le Sénégal est le sixième partenaire commercial de l’Espagne sur le continent africain et le deuxième dans la région de l’Afrique subsaharienne. Cet accord de coopération devrait non seulement renforcer l’intérêt de l’Espagne pour la destination Sénégal, mais également intensifier et accroître les volumes d’investissements, dépassant ainsi les niveaux atteints ces dernières années.
Cette rencontre a également été l’occasion d’échanger sur plusieurs points de convergence, tels que la promotion des investissements structurants dans les zones économiques spéciales, le développement des infrastructures numériques, l’économie bleue, la formation professionnelle, la digitalisation, la territorialisation de l’investissement et des services aux investisseurs.
M. Abdoulaye Baldé n’a pas manqué d’inviter l’ICEX et son réseau d’entreprises à participer au forum INVEST IN SENEGAL qui se tiendra du 6 au 8 juillet prochain.
