A la tête de Pseudonyme, leur agence d’architecture, depuis moins d’un an, Chloé Thomazo et Jeremy Germe ont déjà livré leurs premières réalisations à Annecy, Chamonix, Berlin et Paris. A deux pas du canal de l’Ourcq, ils viennent de réorganiser les bureaux d’une agence de communication située dans un ancien atelier de maintenance du XIXe arrondissement de la capitale. Un quartier en pleine mutation dont l’esprit jeune et dynamique s’incarne pleinement dans le nouvel aménagement de l’espace.
Rehaussée d’un vert éclatant, la verrière d’origine témoigne à la fois du passé des lieux et de la nouvelle énergie insufflée par le couple d’architecte. Au cœur du projet, l’ancien open-space du rez-de-chaussée est métamorphosé en « un espace d’échange et de collaboration » pour favoriser le dialogue entre équipes. Le parti pris est aussi simple que radical. Étirée sur plusieurs mètres, une table regroupe l’ensemble des employés et libère l’espace pour laisser place à de petits « salons » simplement cadrés par deux blocs de casiers en contreplaqué de pin.
Pièce maîtresse de cet aménagement, une « canopée » accentue le caractère atypique du lieu tout améliorant son confort : au niveau sonore en intégrant une dizaine de baffles et de panneaux acoustiques, en termes de luminosité avec pas moins de 52 lampes et du point de vue thermique grâce à cinq ventilateurs et une quarantaine de plantes. Stabilisées pour éviter tout entretien, elles filtrent la lumière de la verrière en projetant leur ombre sur la table commune et protéger l’ensemble des collaborateurs.
Utile et originale, l’installation est aussi audacieuse que l’organisation de l’espace. Un aménagement d’ailleurs conçu en collaboration étroite avec les employés, désormais invités à s’approprier, voire à détourner, leur nouveau lieu de travail. Car « laisser carte blanche aux usagers, c’est ouvrir le champ des possibles » soulignent les deux architectes, qui rénovent aujourd’hui deux appartements parisiens.
